About MDnerd

G’day! I’m Jon.

As a biomedical engineer in a previous life, I entered medicine with a lot of unknowns. I found that different textbooks, medical resources and lecture notes had different opinions and information and were never set out in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

I created MDnerd to contain a collection of my final year medical school notes during the long arduous journey. It collates and integrates information from:

  1. Talley and O’Connor clinical examinations
  2. OSCE revision resources online (inc. AMBOSS, AMSA, OSCEstop etc.)
  3. RACGP guidelines
  4. Lecture notes

I’ll occasionally post up my experiences (volunteering and non-volunteering) in medicine so stay tuned for that!

Anyway, I hope this website is useful to you all and guides your studies!

Medicine is stressful and relentless so be kind to yourself. We’re all in this together!
